Gordon G. Seals, 38, of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville, died Sunday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Mr. Seals was custodian at Hoover School here and was stricken ill at noon Friday while at work. He had been a member of the National Guard unit at Darlington. He was born May 12, 1931, at Hoopston, Ill., a son of Everett and Lena Seals. He was married Nov. 15, 1952, to Betty A. Schwindler. He was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church. Surviving are his widow; his parents; two daughters, Linda and Sabrina at home; two brothers, Ronald of Fortville and Donald of Anderson, and a sister, Mrs. Joan Schannep of Rt. 5, Crawfordsville. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodland Heights Christian Church with Rev. Don Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at Powers Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour before services at the church.
